Do you need a vibrant third party to clarify your own mind to you, to unjumble your ideas and guide you towards the perfect show?
That vibrant soul is me (Sean Morley) and this is a service I offer.

A bottom-up approach to directing

A good show requires indestructible bones.
The tendency for live comedy shows to feel bric-a-brackish, disjointed and disparate is due to a lack of a clear motivating concept.
This is normal. Clarity takes time. It is difficult to determine a show's core and commit to it.

Together we will excavate your show's skeleton and build an architecture that reinforces it - from structure, to material, to delivery (and making sure it's funny too, if you're into that sort of thing).

What Working With Me Looks Like

We will meet for writing and discussion sessions. I will ask you probing questions about you, your show and why you're making it. Together we will work out what the show's core is and build a written framework that will clarify your ideas and shape your show's development.
Exactly how we configure our time together is down to us to figure out based on your needs, wants and how far into development your show is.
Sessions can be long, short, continuous or one-off. In person or online. I'm happy to receive any amount of scripts, recordings, notes etc in advance.
