Fishmas is an annual fishing videogame competition.
Each year a title is chosen and as many people as possible simultaneously compete to catch the biggest fish in that game within a two hour time limit. Everyone goes in blind: No practising, no learning the controls, no checking GameFAQs.

This year's title is Bass Landing (1999) for the Sony Playstation.

The winner gets a hat.

Fishmas Rules

· This year's Fishmas competition is on Friday 19th December. The starting whistle is 8pm GMT.

· You have two hours to catch the largest fish possible in the game.

· You must livestream your gameplay to Twitch.tv using the 'Bass Landing' category. Please turn VODs on so your catch can be verified.

· You must not practice or familiarise yourself with the game in advance. Checking it runs and your controls work is fine, but you cannot fish.

· When the time is up at 10pm GMT, raid into my twitch channel where I will be both hosting and participating. Once everyone is in we can determine who had the biggest catch.

The winner will get a free hat and the ability to choose next year's title.
